It’s 10pm, you’re in bed and have been scrolling on TikTok for hours. You stumble across a video of a girl raving about the soup dumplings she got at Trader Joe’s. This is not the first time you saw a video of someone raving about this product. The next day, you decide to drive to your local Trader Joe’s, and ask for the “TikTok soup dumplings.” The manager immediately knows what you’re talking about and proceeds to tell you: “sorry, but we’re all sold out.” This phenomenon is called herd behavior, and on social media, it happens when a video showing a product goes viral. TikTok has caused many brands to sell out because of the virality of the app. It’s a place where people share their lives, and that includes the products they use. Today, we’re going to discuss this year’s 10 most viral products on TikTok and why your brand should be on the app. Let’s get started!
