DIY: How To Crop Out An Image
New to Photoshop and don’t know where or even how to start? Let’s start with the basics – cropping out an image. This method is a basic “know-how” when it comes to photo manipulation and even graphic design.
There are many ways to crop a photo, Photoshop has several ways to make this job possible, but, if you have a heavy workload, cropping a photo can be a very time consuming task. This is a simple tutorial on how to do it quickly and easily. Let’s start!
1. Select and open your photo to be cropped.
Locate the quick selection tool and try to grab as much as you can from the image.
2. Click the “Refine edges” button in the top bar and proceed to adjust the image to make it look good in its new background.
Adjust the values as needed to make it look good, remember that when it comes to hair it can be really delicate, make sure to play with every section to get your desired outcomes. Once you’re happy with how it looks click the “OK” button. This will create a new layer with the refined selection.
3. Paste it onto a new background and…….Done!
